Question: I believe I am definitely moving to France next year with my girlfriend, she will be attending graduate school there and would like me to move with her. I believe I have two choice if we go, that is get into graduate school as well, or find a job, that is where I really need the help, and apartment would be nice too, but one thing at a time, right. I am an American citizen and live in New Jersey, I am currently working as a psychotherapist, and have a BA in biopsychology, I am willing to work just about anywhere, teaching would be cool, or in a hospital or American Embassy, if you are able to help it would be appreciated.

Answer: Finding work in France is very difficult right now for most expats. The best I can do is to direct you to my finding a job in France page - Finding a job in France. I would suggest you try teaching English, just put an ad in a throwaway newspaper like Bonjour. I did that and was able to make some money, not a lot but some.
I'm not sure you could work as a psychotherapist as you might not have the right paperwork, French diploma or certificate. Of course you could work under the table.
