Hello, I am currently looking at moving to the area of Cannes. I will be transferred to run my company's European Division. We are a small development stage company and do not have a relocation company in mind at this time. I have a family of three and would ultimately like to find a 3 bedroom Semi-furnished Villa, with ocean views and a bit of grass in the yard. I would be interested in your experience with shipping furniture and or autos. How about pets? We have one dog. My son is two so no schools is necessary however my wife is curious about a part time job in a museum or upscale retail environment possibly. The time frame would be between Nov. 03 and Feb. 04. I might come ahead for a month or so to get things in order. I am sure I am missing details you might need so please let me know what those might be.

I am not sure if you wife we be able to work, it all depends on your visa and her nationally, I would suggest you get a hold of your nearest French consulate - CONSULATES OF FRANCE IN THE UNITED STATES. Animals as I understand it are relatively easy to bring into France as compared to England, still lots of paperwork I'm sure. Your son could start school at three, as that's the age children start in France. Otherwise you could put him into daycare at a very reasonable price - $400 a month - full time.
