Q & A

Subject: Is Medicare good in France?

Question: We are thinking about moving to France in about one or two years when I retire I have a American Passport and Euro Passport as I was born in N Ireland my wife has a American Passport and a Hungarian Passport any information you could give us would be a big help is Medicare good in France?

Answer:

I personally have no idea if Medicare is good in France. All that I could find is this site in French, http://www.franceservice.com/question_reponses/q_rep60.shtml. From what I can understand, yes there is some coverage in France, but the site did not say how much. The only other help I can offer is the Medicare web site, http://www.medicare.gov.
