Subject: Medical\Social Contributions

Name: Lou
Message: Hi all,

I am moving to France within the next 6-8 mos and I have not seen this on the forums. I am a dual citizen of Italy\USA so most Visa requirements would not apply as I am a EU citizen as well. If i am lucky to find work at first then this issue is mute since the employer would handle it but, I don't foresee finding permanant work right away. So, how does one get into the country's medical\Social security systems, how would my contribution be calculated and who would do it?

Can anyone help?

Thanks

Lou
