Message Hello, the French student housing subsidies are called APL (aide personnalisée au logement) or ALS (Allocation au Logement à caractère Social). Depending on the type of housing you will have in France as a student, you will qualify for one or the other. No nationality requirement. Here are a couple web sites for you. www.caf.fr (the CAF - Caisse d'Allocations Familiales - is the institution granting those subsidies) http://www.mapiaule.com/article.php3?id_article=7880 http://etudiants.locataires.free.fr/html/aides.html (the two last web sites are non official: I honestly don't know what they are worth, but they might be a little less cryptic than the official one - both are in French, though) Hope that helps! Iris
