Subject: Where can I find scarves?
Date: Wednesday, August 03, 2005
Name: Hebb
Message: Is there anywhere other than the main department stores (Galeries Lafayette, Printemps, Au Bon Marche, etc.) where I can find a good variety of scarves? I see women all over paris wearing nice scarves, but I hardly see the same variety of patterns in the department stores. Any tips on stores with a good variety of scarves would be greatly appreciated.

Message The shops in the square behind Sacre Coeur have tons of scarves - but you may find the quality isn't as good as Hermes of course. But at those prices you could get a different one for every day of the week. Or you could check out the shops in the Latin Quarter area.

Message You can get lovely silk scarves in Libertys in Regent St in London. They are famous for their scarves although they do not have as good a variety as they used to have.

In France very French woman has at least one Hermes scarf despite what they cost... You will also find some lovely scarves in airports in duty free shops but they are expensive. Regards

Shelia
