My husband is French, I am American. We currently live in in the U.S. but may be moving back to France. In the mean time we are trying to raise our child bilingual (OPOL method). I am finding some information on theory, but not a whole lot of information on the practice and day to day issues. Does anyone have any references?
I am particulary looking for a web site, maybe with forums, or input from other parents. Preferably dealing with English as one of the languages. Site or info in French or English. Thank you, Shannon |

| Message | Have you considered putting your child in a French or international school in your area. That is what my husband and I are doing to that way when we return to France our son will not be behind. Sending your child to a French school will also help him/her to develop French language abilities outside of the home as well. |
