Subject: Housing Season in Paris?
Date: Tuesday, June 07, 2005
Name: Shannon
Message: My husband and I will be relocating to Paris next year. We are flexible with our dates so we want to time our arrival with the best time to find long-term rental housing. Does anyone have any suggestions. My instincts tell me that in fall we would be competing with all the students, and summer only seems to offer short-term vacation rentals. We would be looking for non-studenty housing 2+rooms. Thank you for any insight.

Message In France, many job assignments start on September, which is also the very busy "back to school" time (la rentree). Therefore, house hunting reaches a peak in late spring/early summer, especially in Paris where there is quite a lot of competition. Regards,

Francois
