Hello - I'm a single mom (widow) from Chicago traveling with my two young children. We are currently visiting with friends in London and will be here for another 5 months. I am hoping to go to France on a long term stay visa for a year. I need to get health insurance for myself and my children to apply but I'm lost in the sea of options. Could anyone please advise me on how to go about choosing a plan. Do most plans require you to pay and then get reimbursed? Which insurers are the most reputable? Thank you for your help.
