| Message | Hello, I am an American living in the UK. I am considering purchasing property in France. I have been trying to find out more info on taxes, retirement income, etc. It is best to try google.com not google.co.uk when looking up info from the US side of moving to france. If this still does not work, see if someone in the states can do a search for you and email you the address of the sites. It is a pain trying to do it in the UK, as I know there is a lot of info in the US about citizens retire in France. Any negatives about moving there? thanks, susan |

I've also sent you an email, but there are actually quite a few of us here, and we are in the middle of setting up an association specifically for Americans in Brittany. Just an FYI, there is also the Franco-American institute in Rennes. |
