| Message: | I am going to France soon. A European friend of mine (he doesn't live in france) gave me a european cell phone (motorola) and said that I can buy a sim card in France with the phone number etc... WOuld I be able to do it and how much would it cost? thank you very much. |

It depends on if the phone is unlocked or not. If it is, you'll easily be able to pick up a new pay-as-you-go sim card for about 20 or 30¬.
Just an FYI, French sim cards expire after 6 months if you don't use them or top-up the credit. |
