Message: What is going on with the drinks in France having no ice in them?????

Message In case you haven't thought about it, here are a few things about ice in France: 1 - it's not boiling hot for most of the year like it is in much of the (particularly Southern) USA. Therefore ice isn't as important as long as the drink is already cold or at least cool. 2 - when you have lots of ice, the drink can get watered down and not taste remotely like what you are paying good money for. 3 - the French (and many of their fellow Europeans) rightly believe that putting lots of ice in a drink means you get less of what you are paying for - the actual drink! (this obviously doesn't apply for bottled / canned drinks)
