Message: I have two questions. Ive begun appyling to teach english in France through Frenchculture.org. Iwould like to be place in paris. From my understanding they place you where they need you and your chances of getting in Paris or a place of your choice are slim. Supposedly you can enroll in a university program etc and "potentially" be placed in that city where you're enrolled. I have written to them to find out if this is a guarentee and have yet to hear back. I am curious if you have any advice or insight or have heard of this backfiring. my second question concerns dance in france. I am a professional contemporary dancer and would like to be placed in a city where there's is the opportunity to take competitve classes with a lively dance/arts scene. Where do you recommend outside of Paris. I hear montpellier and maybe marsaille. thank you.

Message Please tell me more about teaching-English opportunities in France. I checked the French culture.org site but couldn't find what you referred to. I am interested in teaching anywhere but Paris.
