Subject: American Citizen, UK residencey, French Partner
Date: Saturday, November 12, 2005
Name: D
Message: My new dilema, I am an american citizen but now have obtained UK residency through a job, My partner is French (PACS) and will be living and working in france.

The job I will take in the UK allows me to travel in and out as much as I want.

Does someone with residency status have the same rights as a member of the European Union or do I need to obtain another visa (since I will be in france about 20 days a month and in the UK 10 or 15 days a month.

Thanks for any information.

I have to say with the new EU, global marketing, and you never do know whre you will find love, life is confusing..
