Can anyone tell me how much French customs charges when you buy DVDs and books from the States (from Amazon.com for example)?

Message Hi John,

I can offer to help you - I am coming to Paris in a month and could bring you books or DVDs.

I wonder if you could help me with one request. I just applied for a free web offer and the company needs to send an automatic message to someone with a phone number in France and have the person key in 4 digits. If you know of anyone who could help with this I would be very grateful.

Message I have found that parcels sent from the US by the postal service are never taxed. Parcels by UPS and Fed ex seem to always be taxed. I have had the same items sent by both UPS and the postal service. I had to pay tax on the UPS package.

Message I don't think they charge anything as long as it is not bulk quantities. Please double-check with UPS or FEDEX they might have the answer. rgds Stephane
