The French Ministry of Transportation publishes a yearly traffic calendar that classifies days on the level of usage – Black (Very Heavy Traffic), Red (Heavy Traffic), Orange (Moderate Traffic) or Green (Normal Traffic). This along with other useful information can be found on the ministry web site Bison Futé, site in French.
