La Roche sur Foron Municipal Elections 2008Results
Here are the results for the first round of the municipal elections on March 9th 2008. As no candidate received more than 50% of the vote there was a second round on March 16th, see below.

| Council Seats | 29 |
| Michel Thabuis | 1,892 | 48.96% | 22 Seats |
| Michel Montant | 1,568 | 40.58% | 6 Seats |
| Ali Harabi | 404 | 10.46% | 1 Seat |
* In France it’s possible to vote Blanc (no vote in the envelope) or Null (multiple or destroyed ballots). These votes are counted but don’t figure in the total votes cast, called exprimés.
