Northern BurgundyDijon France Former home to the Dukes of Burgundy Dijon France is the capital of Burgundy. A three hour drive from either Paris or Lyon, Dijon is home to fine food and wine. Along with the former Dukes Palace, a Fine Arts Museum and wonderful old houses in the city center. Here is my 'Things to do in Dijon' list:
Not only is there a lot to see in Dijon, but in less than an hours drive you can visit a UNESCO World Heritage Abbaye de Fontenay, the village where Chocolat was filmed, Flavigny-sur-Ozerain, the location of the 'most famous wine auction in the world' in Beaune and right next to Dijon Air Base 102.
