If you can't make it to any villages outside Strasbourg, then La Petite France is the next best thing. Also make sure your have a guide a book that came explain the outside sculptures. Musée de L'Œuvre Nortre-Dame- Just next to the Cathedral. Full of church ruins from all over Alsace. Lots of winding stairs, be prepared to walk. Very little information in English. Note: All museums in Strasbourg are free the first Sunday of the month. Musées du Palais Rohan- Made up of three museums, Musée des Arts Décoratifs, Musée des Beaux-Arts and Musée archéolgique. Former Cardinal residence, just next to the Cathedral and bordering the river Ill. All three museums are worth a visit, with the Musée des Beaux-Arts being the best of the three.
