Q & A

Subject: September in Paris and what to wear.

Question: My husband and I are traveling to Paris mid September (sans les enfants) and are wondering how we should dress for touring the city. Are jeans and sneakers OK? Someone told us that we might stand out like "sore thumbs" if we dressed as such. Also, what is the best way to carry money? I understand one needs to be careful of pickpockets? We have lots of questions about our trip, but these are preliminary ones. Thanks so much for your help!

Answer: I am starting to get a question like yours once a week now. It dose not matter what you wear to the French, so jeans and sneakers are find. What I tell everybody is, wear what is comfortable for you, as you’re the one doing the walking. As for carrying money, get a money belt, it will be the safest way to go.
