Q & A

Subject: List of the bilingual schools in France.

Question: My daughter, age 12, and I are planning to move to France next year. I need a list of the bilingual schools (anywhere but Paris) that are public. Our French is very limited, although we are studying frantically! I would also like to know if there would be any problem having her admitted to a public school.

I would apprecite any help on this since I have contacted many sources and just get linked to other sources which really don`t answer my questions.

Thanks,

Answer:

As long as you are in France legally, your daughter will be able to go to public school. Where problems might arise in enrolling her would be with having the right paperwork. The French just love paperwork and it all has to be just right to be accepted. Here is a link listing what you will need to have to enroll her, http://www.expatica.com/france.asp?pad=290,307,&item_id=9671.
As for a list of bilingual schools I really could not find anything even resembling a complete list, have a look at the links below and the link above, it is the best I can do. Any other questions just ask. Jeff
