Q & A

Subject: French diploma equivalent.

Question: I was doing some research on relocation companies in Paris, while I came across your site & find it very interesting & informative, with some honest touches! I'm Irish and have been living here in Paris (or rather in the countryside of Paris!) for over a year & half now & am still getting used to my new way of life! It is true what you said about diplomas here - they simply do not have the equivalent or know of the likes!
Well since I am interested in working for a relocation company here, I might have some questions for you! In the meantime keep up the good work & bonne chance avec tous!

Answer: What I said about diplomas only applies to Americans that have an American diploma and would like to know its equivalent in France. In that case there is no set rules for making an exchange. Each individual decision is made case by case. The only thing that can be had is a paper from the Rectorat stating how many years of higher education a person has.
