Q & A

Subject: Dining and accommodation preferences of French people.

Question: When traveling to other countries what are the dining and accommodation preferences of French people?

Answer: The French in general prefer to eat longer and later than North Americans or other Europeans. Most meals last over an hour, lunch starts between twelve and one, with dinner starting from seven to as late as ten. The center of French culture is dining and the conversation that takes at the table.
As for accommodation, compared to North Americans, the French seem to like things cleaner, houses/rooms, gardens and cities.
