Q & A

Subject: Camping in Brittany.

Question: I would like to take my family camping in Brittany, but do not fancy driving in France. I like the sound of St. Malo, but is there an airport within reasonable traveling distance from St. Malo?

Answer: There is an airport in Rennes, that I think is an hour or so from St. Malo, by car or train. Flying within France is very expensive so you might think about taking a train, the French train company web site is http://www.sncf.com/indexe.htm. It is a four hour train ride from Paris to St. Malo going through Rennes, cost 46 Euros. If your taking a family the cheapest way to travel in France might be by car. Another thing, in France when you camp, the camp sites are one right next to each other. Not much space between you and your neighbor.
