Très Bonne Année À Tous!

Here are some photos from my recent trip to Paris with a stay at the two star ibis budget Paris La Villette, video tour here! The big takeaway from my trip? If in doubt, chose the Musée d'Orsay over the Louvre!
Looking for more from France than Paris? Check out these suggestions from last year!

  • We start with a walk on the Coulée verte René-Dumont aka the Promenade Plantée near the Gare de Lyon.

  • Then move on to the Musée d'Orsay.

  • Where we admire Vincent van Gogh's L'Église d'Auvers-sur-Oise.

  • And then Claude Monet's Gare Saint Lazare.

  • Now it's time for lunch.

  • Lunch finishes with a Gaufre Bruxelloise Glace Vanille et Sauce Chocolat!

  • Did you know you can see Sacré-Cœur from the Musée d'Orsay!

  • Talking about Montmartre, let's head over to Place du Tertre.

  • We can also take in the view of Paris.

  • Moving on to the Louvre.

  • Victoire de Samothrace.

  • Trying to see La Joconde - aka the Mona Lisa.

  • Venus de Milo.

  • Time for a ride on a Bateau Mouche.

  • Pont Alexandre III.

  • Pont Alexandre III with the Tour Eiffel.

  • Avenue des Champs-Élysées.

  • & from above.

  • Bouquinistes - Booksellers along the Seine.

  • Marché Barbès.

  • Paris at sunset from the Jardin des Tuileries.
