French Bank AccountBanque Chaix

French Banking Made Easy with Paul Varley and Banque Chaix

Before moving to France I worked in the UK retail banking industry for 20 years. I moved to France in 2004 and joined Banque Chaix where I set up a banking service tailor-made for English-speakers. Banque Chaix is a regional bank with a presence in 5 departments in South East France. You can see our branch offices.

The service I offer is an A to Z for all English-speakers who prefer to conduct their financial affairs with a native English-speaker i.e. with someone who speaks the same language. Essentially I offer a support service to my French colleagues in the branch network and this involves opening bank accounts, handling the transfer of accounts from other French banks, arranging property finance, giving investment advice and being a point of contact for everyday questions.

Not only are customers able to communicate with their French bank in their mother-tongue but they also have direct contact with me by telephone, by e-mail and in person.
