How to find housekeeping/nanny job in France? |

I'm an American grandmother (age 59) who would love to live and work in France. Can anyone suggest companies I could contact about finding a position as housekeeper, caretaker or nanny for a family in France? I'm thinking that English-speaking families living far from home might be interested in a kind, plump, borrowed grannie.
Also, it seems that there will be a circular problem about finding a job and getting a work visa. Any thoughts about that?
Thanks,
TeaTime Granny

Hi
We are looking for a live-in Au Pair or Nanny/housekeeper... We are an Anglo Belgian couple with a lovely adopted baby boy. We are living in London but are moving to France, just next to Geneva, in September. Please contact us [email protected]

Thanks, Shauna. It's more difficult to find this sort of thing on the web than I expected.

Hi,
if you check www.gumtree.com, i saw some positions there.
Also, a good thing to do is go to forums of certain areas. If you do a google search for the languedoc page and click on classifieds, you may find something there.
Good luck
Shauna
