Daily LifeUS Visa Information France

There is no need to get a visa before you go to France, if you are just going as a tourist and plan on being there for less than three months. When you arrive in France and your passport gets stamped (and it does not always as the French are very lack when it comes to stamping American passports), you will be issued a three-month visa. If you do not get your passport stamped, do not worry; it does not matter. Just enjoy your time in France and remember the French want your tourist dollars.
