Daily LifeSales in France

In France, there are only two legal sale periods: winter sales (Soldes d'hiver) that start in January and summer sales (Soldes d'été) that start on the last Wednesday in June for most departments in France. Each will last for about five (new for 2015 sales in France now last for 6 weeks) weeks and bargains of over 50% can be found in abundance.

There usually is a nation-wide start date, but some departments can start earlier so check dates where you live are will be traveling. Also overseas departments tend to have different dates than mainland France.
