Here is the French public school vacation calendar for the 2012/2013 school year.

The school year runs from September 4th to July 4th.

French school holiday schedule (K - 12) for the 2012/2013 school year:

Holiday Zone A Zone B Zone C
Toussaint (All Saints Day) October 27th to November 11th October 27th to November 11th October 27th to November 11th
Noël (Christmas) December 22nd to January 6th December 22nd to January 6th December 22nd to January 6th
Hiver (Winter) February 23rd to March 10th February 16th to March 3rd March 2nd to March 17th
Printemps (Easter) April 20th to May 5th April 13st to April 28th April 27th to May 12th
Été (Summer) July 5th to September 2nd July 5th to September 2nd July 5th to September 2nd

French School Zones:

Zone A includes - Caen, Clermont-Ferrand, Grenoble, Lyon, Montpellier, Nancy, Metz, Nantes, Rennes and Toulouse.

Zone B includes - Amiens, Aix en Provence, Marseille Besançon, Dijon, Lille, Limoges, Nice, Orléans, Tours, Poitiers, Reims, Rouen and Strasbourg.

Zone C includes - Bordeaux, Créteil, Paris and Versailles.
