Here is the French public school vacation calendar for the 2008/2009 public school year.

The 2008/2009 school year runs from September 2nd to July 2nd.

French school holiday schedule (K - 12) for the 2008/2009 school year:

Holiday Zone A Zone B Zone C
Toussaint (All Saints Day) October 25th to November 6th October 25th to November 6th October 25th to November 6th
Noël (Christmas) December 20th to January 5th December 20th to January 5th December 20th to January 5th
Hiver (Winter) February 7th to February 23rd February 21st to March 9th February 14th to March 2nd
Printemps (Easter) April 4th to April 20th April 18th to May 4th April 11th to April 27th
Été (Summer) July 2nd to September 2nd July 2nd to September 2nd July 2nd to September 2nd

French School Zones:

Zone A includes - Caen, Clermont-Ferrand, Grenoble, Lyon, Montpellier, Nancy, Metz, Nantes, Rennes and Toulouse.

Zone B includes - Amiens, Aix en Provence, Marseille Besançon, Dijon, Lille, Limoges, Nice, Orléans, Tours, Poitiers, Reims, Rouen and Strasbourg.

Zone C includes - Bordeaux, Créteil, Paris and Versailles.
