AttractionsNice France

Here are some photos of the city of Nice on the French Riviera.

I know this is a cliché photo but it does seem to be very true. Lots of people go to the beach in Nice. This is the beach at Baie des Anges.

This is overlooking the Mediterranean coast in Nice. Yes, the water really is that shade of beautiful blue.

This is the Monument aux morts - War Memorial in Nice. It is under the Colline du Chateau and near the port.

This is looking at some of the coast around Nice. This photo was taken on a ferry going to Corsica.

This is the port of Nice. If you are in Nice and want to see something interesting, hang around the port for a while and see a ferry being unloaded and then loaded with cars. You won’t believe how fast the process is!

This is the one of the entrances at the port in Nice. This is where cars line up to get on ferries.

This is the street that runs along La Promenade des Anglais.

These bikes are part of Vélo Bleu. Vélo Bleu is a bike rental program, the first half hour is free. The program is sponsored by the city of Nice.
